Can a Magnetic Bracelet cure Headaches?

Here's a quote from Norman Allan, a naturopath in Toronto Canada:
'I have a patient whose headaches went away when she started wearing a cheap magnetic bracelet. It is worth a try and is almost certainly safe. These are small magnetic fields, not like the large fields used for MRIs, and doctors consider those safe.'

Well, it's great that she got rid of her headaches using a magnetic bracelet, but I really cannot think of any reason why that would work! Using magnetic eye masks, now that I can see why it would work. If there is swelling in the tissue surrounding the brain then decreasing the swelling with bio-north magnets would almost certainly make the headache go away. But for a couple of small magnets near the wrist to do that. Well, I don't understand it!

I realize that it will have a small effect on the blood circulating through the wrist and then moving on to other parts of the body. It's interesting. Really more double blind studies need to be done!
